Getting started

When will I start to feel the effects?

Kovera is designed to be given a little time. Some people notice a calmer wind down on the very first night, while for others it takes a few nights to settle in. We'd genuinely encourage you to give it a fair run of five to seven nights before deciding. That's the window the patch is built around, and it's long enough to see how your own body responds.

What exactly is a Kovera Sleep Patches?

It's a small adhesive patch you wear on your skin overnight. Instead of swallowing a pill or gummy, the patch sits against the skin and is designed to release its ingredients gradually through the night rather than all at once.

For people who dislike swallowing tablets, have tried everything else or simply want one less thing to remember at bedtime, a patch can be a simpler format. It is designed to support a normal wind down routine.

How is a patch different from melatonin pills or gummies?

Pills and gummies are swallowed and processed through your digestive system, which tends to deliver the dose in one concentrated wave. Kovera is designed for steady overnight release that bypasses your digestive system. Meaning that more of its ingredients are absorbed by your body.

There's also nothing to swallow, no water needed, no sugar or flavoring required, and no timing around food. You peel, apply, and rest.

Will I feel groggy in the morning?

Kovera is designed for steady overnight release rather than a single concentrated dose. Having said that, customer experiences vary from person to person, so we recommend following the directions for use and trying it on a night when you don't have early commitments the next day, just to see how your own body responds.

Will I be too out of it if my child needs me in the night?

Kovera is designed for a steady overnight wear rather than a single concentrated hit. The intention is to support your wind down routine and sleep, not to knock you out. Most adults wake to their alarm and to noise around them as usual.

That said, everyone responds differently. We'd suggest trying your first patch on a night when you're not on solo duty, just so you can see how your own body responds before relying on it.

Safety & ingredients

What's actually in each patch?

Six ingredients you've likely seen before: magnesium, valerian root, hops extract, 5-HTP, melatonin, and L-tryptophan. We list the exact amounts in the "What's Inside" section of the product page. No proprietary blends, no hidden doses.

How much melatonin is in each patch?

The exact amount is listed on the product page. We deliberately keep the melatonin amount modest rather than oversized. A smaller amount is often enough to fit into a normal wind-down routine, and more isn't necessarily better.

If you're sensitive to melatonin or new to it, you can start with half a patch and see how your body responds.

Is it safe for me to use?

Kovera is formulated with ingredients commonly used in sleep supplements and designed for nightly use as part of your wind-down routine.

As with any supplement, we recommend starting with a single patch (or you could also experiment with half or a quarter of a patch) and seeing how your body responds. If you have a medical condition, take any medication, or are pregnant or nursing, talk to your healthcare provider before use.

Discontinue if you experience skin irritation. Keep out of reach of children. Always read the label and use only as directed. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Is it safe if I take other medications, or if I'm breastfeeding?

Kovera contains 5-HTP, L-tryptophan, and melatonin. These ingredients can interact with certain prescription medications including antidepressants (SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs), some migraine medications, and other sleep aids. If you take any of these, please speak to your doctor before adding Kovera to your routine.

Kovera is not intended for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If you're in either stage, please wait or consult your healthcare provider for guidance. It's also not for anyone under 18.

Can melatonin become a habit, or will I become dependent on it?

Melatonin is a hormone your body already produces naturally. Many people use it occasionally for travel, schedule changes, or rough patches. Others use it more regularly as part of a routine.

We're a supplement company, not your doctor, so if you're planning long-term nightly use or have any concerns, that's a good conversation to have with a healthcare provider.

Could the patch irritate my skin?

The adhesive is designed to be gentle and is intended for overnight wear, but skin is individual. Some people with sensitive skin or adhesive allergies may notice mild redness where the patch sat.

If that happens, try rotating the application site each night (shoulder, back or arm) so the same area of skin isn't used repeatedly. If irritation continues, discontinue use. If you've reacted to plasters or adhesive bandages before, patch-test on a small area first.

Does the patch contain sugar or artificial flavors?

No. Because the patch is applied to your skin rather than swallowed, there's no need for sweeteners, flavors, or fillers. It's one of the cleaner ways to take a sleep supplement.

Using Kovera

How do I actually use it?

Peel one patch from the sheet and apply it to a clean, dry area with little or no hair. The inner wrist, upper arm, shoulder, or back all work well. We recommend applying it around 1-2 hours before bed. Remove it when you wake up. No water, no food timing, nothing else to remember.

It is also recommended to reduce time looking at screens, eating or drinking, and doing any activities that may wake the body and mind up when getting ready for bed.

How long should I wear the patch?

Apply the patch about 1-2 hours before bed and wear it overnight for roughly 8 hours or until you wake up. There's no need to keep it on during the day.

Where on my body should I put the patch?

Pick a spot that's clean, dry, and relatively free of hair. The inner wrist, upper arm, shoulder, or back are great areas. Avoid broken or irritated skin, and try not to apply it directly over a fresh application of lotion or oil, as that can affect how well the patch sticks.

Rotating the spot from night to night is a good habit and helps keep skin comfortable.

Do I need water or food to use it?

No. That's one of the reasons people love patches over pills and gummies. There's nothing to swallow, no water needed, and no need to time it around dinner. Just peel, apply, and rest.

Will the patch stay on if I shower or move a lot in my sleep?

The patch is designed to stay put through a normal night of sleep, including tossing and turning. Applying it to clean, dry, lotion-free skin gives the best hold.

It isn't intended as a waterproof patch, so we'd suggest applying it after your evening shower rather than before, and removing it when you wake rather than wearing it into a morning shower.

Can I use more than one patch a night?

We recommend one patch per night and that's the amount the formula is designed around. More isn't better with melatonin, and doubling up won't necessarily change how you feel.

If a single patch feels like too much, you can cut one in half to start lower. If you feel a single patch isn't right for you after a fair trial, the better step is to talk to a healthcare provider rather than stacking patches.

Orders & guarantee

What if it doesn't work for me?

Everyone's body is different, and we'd rather you keep your money than keep a product you don't love. We encourage our customers to use it for least five to seven nights, so we ask that you wear it for that stretch before deciding, since that's the window it's built around.

If you've given it those nights and it still isn't the right fit, just reach out to our team within 30 nights of your order even if the pack is open and we'll refund you.

How does the 30-Day Money Back Guarantee Work?

It's simple: order your first pack and give it a fair run. We encourage at least five to seven nights, since that's a reasonable stretch to see how your routine settles into it. If after that you decide within 30 nights of your order date that Kovera isn't for you, contact our team and we'll process a full refund. You don't need to send back an opened or empty pack, and there's no form to fill out.

The trial is here so you can judge Kovera on how it actually performs, not on a promise. If you ever notice skin irritation or an adverse reaction, don't wait stop use and contact us right away.

How do I cancel or pause a subscription?

You're in control of your subscription at all times. You can skip a delivery, pause, or cancel from your account. There's no minimum number of orders and no cancellation fee.

If you'd rather we handle it, just message our team and we'll sort it out for you before your next renewal.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Orders typically arrive within 7-13 business days. You'll receive tracking by email as soon as your order ships.

If anything seems delayed, reach out to our team and we'll chase it down for you.

Travel & storage

Can I travel with the patches?

Absolutely. The patches are compact, TSA-approved, and don't require refrigeration or any preparation. They're a favorite for long flights, hotel stays, and anywhere your usual routine gets disrupted. Make sure to keep the original packaging so the security is able to quickly see what they are.

However we'd also suggest checking the current rules of any country you're flying into, since regulations on sleep supplements can vary internationally.

Can melatonin help with jet lag?

Melatonin plays a role in signaling to your body that it's nighttime, which is why many travelers reach for it when adjusting to a new time zone. Some apply a patch at bedtime in the destination time zone as part of settling into local hours.

Experiences vary from person to person and trip to trip, and it tends to work best alongside the usual basics, getting daylight at the right times and shifting your schedule to local hours.

How should I store the patches?

Keep the pouch sealed and store it somewhere cool, dry, and out of direct sunlight. A bedside drawer or somewhere near your bed is ideal for your convenience.

Are they safe to keep at home around kids?

Kovera Sleep Patches come in a discreet packet that's designed to live in a bedside drawer rather than on display. The patches don't look or taste like candy the way gummies can, which is part of why many parents prefer this format.

That said like any adult product please keep them out of reach of children, and never apply a patch to anyone under 18.
